Dr Miranda completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He initially worked as a hospitalist for three years after his residency training, and then accepted a position in outpatient primary care in Gilmer, Texas. Dr Miranda now specializes in Adult Primary Care Internal Medicine.
His experience includes administrative duties as Director of the Outpatient Clinic at East Texas Medical Center, Gilmer, and Chief of Medical Staff at Gilmer Hospital.
Dr Miranda has been board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2006.
Dr Miranda considers it a privilege being a bilingual doctor, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
He strives to provide up to date medical recommendations, using a patient centered approach. Dr Miranda offers personal service, with respect, dignity and compassion. He teams with his patients in the treatment of their medical problems.
He looks forward to serving the patients of the Panhandle as their trusted physician. In order to accomodate patients who become ill during the day and need to be seen, or patients who are working, evening hours are planned beginning in February 2011.
